Eight adventurous and unique kilometers with up to 40 obstacles for everyone.
No matter if you are experienced or a dirtrun novice, marathon runner or occasional couch potato.
This distance suits all those who are looking for their own personal adventure in nature and just want to have fun.

8 Kilometer
220 Höhenmeter netto (1)
300 Höhenmeter brutto (2)
(1) Differenz Startpunkt bis höchster Streckenpunkt.
(2) Anstiege plus Wiederanstiege nach Abstiegen. Negative Höhenmeter (Abstiege) sind nicht berücksichtigt.
Anstiege/Wiederanstiege mit weniger als 3m Höhendifferenz sind nicht berücksichtigt.
Team
Ab 4 Personen könnt ihr ein Team bilden. Alle Teammitglieder müssen für dieselbe Distanz gemeldet sein.
Die schnellsten drei Teams (jeweils männlich, weiblich, mixed) werden gewertet.

Our Brand Ambassadors
The two athletes Virginia and Philipp are well known in the Instagram sports scene. With postings about fitness and healthy eating they show their communities how one can stay in shape. We are proud to introduce these two (really likeable, motivated and great people) as our Brand Ambassadors! Check out Virginia und Philipp's profiles and see how they are preparing for their very personal adventure at Erzberg!
By the way: In 2022 the two of them conquered the Erzberg together! However, Virginia has already conquered the Styrian Pyramid in 2021 at the 8 km dirtrun and the grin couldn't to be washed out of her face - no matter if crawling through the mud pond or at the Erzberg Dirtslide! In 2023 Philipp conquered the mountain of iron with friends, while Virginia interwieved some of our athletes.
We are looking forward to the legendary „Krone Erzberg Adventure Days“ 2024!

Fun and action
Would you like a little foretaste?
You can expect not only an ordinary dirtrun, but an experience that you won't ever forget! Look forward to a lot of fun, action and especially DIRT - because we take "DIRTRUN" literally!
Warmed up into the mud!
The girls from The Jungle Body Leoben will make sure that your muscles are all warmed up so that you can start your adventure top-motivated. With the right exercises they will prepare you to master every single obstacle!
The Haulys
11.5 meters long, 5.5 meters wide and 4.5 meters high. The Haulys are real monsters and probably the most massive obstacle you will ever overcome at a dirt run. But not only the Haulys themselves, but also the Hauly tires with a diameter of 2.6 meters are going to stand in your way.
The mud ponds
Splashing around in a construction container isn't even half the fun! Natural mud pools are waiting for you and will get you really dirty for once.

The tunnels
The Erzberg lures you to its inner core and shows you some of its most beautiful tunnels which once served the miners as extraction routes. The 8 kilometer distance takes you not only over the mountain, but also through it. The name "Hell's Gate" tells it all.
