PRIVACY POLICY

A - General

 

The website "Krone Erzberg Adventure Days", accessible under the domain www.erzbergsport.at/en, is operated by TIQA Werbe- & Marketing GmbH, Fischergasse 12, 8700 Leoben, phone: +43 3842/24 24 410, email: info@tiqa.at. TIQA Werbe- & Marketing GmbH is the media owner and publisher of this website.

 

B - Protection of personal data

 

The protection and security of your personal data is very important to us.

 

We only process your personal data with your consent or to fulfil the mandate or order placed by you for the purposes agreed with you or if another legal basis exists (within the meaning of the GDPR). As a user, you consent to data processing in accordance with this declaration.

We have taken appropriate organisational and technical precautions to ensure the protection of your personal data (protection against misuse both internally and externally).

 

However, it cannot be ruled out that information may be viewed or used by other persons due to errors in data transmission not caused by us or due to unauthorised access by third parties (hackers, etc.). We accept no liability for this unless this misuse has been culpably caused by us.

 

C - Use of personal data

 

When you enter data on our website, the following happens with this data: Newsletter dispatch

You can register for the "Krone Erzberg Adventure Days" newsletter using a form on our website.  To register for our newsletter service, as a minimum, we need your email address to which the newsletter is to be sent. Only information related to the "Krone Erzberg Adventure Days" event and its partners and that concerns you as a participant or interested visitor or serves to evaluate and improve the event (participant survey/evaluation after the event) will be sent via newsletter. The personal data (email address) will be stored and used for sending the newsletter until you unsubscribe.

 

Application forms

 

If you register via registration forms on our website, various data (e.g. name, email address, telephone number, ...) will be provided by you for contacting and processing offers or services. We use your data exclusively for the processing of the services for which you register yourself. Your data will be irrevocably deleted within 2 months after the service has been provided.

 

No directly personal data is automatically collected on our portals. That means: You only provide us with this data by actively entering it. The provider of this website automatically stores information in so-called server log files, which are automatically transmitted by your browser. This includes your IP address, browser and language settings, operating system, your internet service provider, date/time, URL (cookies). All of this is intended to optimise the website in terms of user-friendliness and the provision of useful information for interested visitors. This data is not merged with personal data sources and no personal user profiles are created.

If you register for the "Krone Erzberg Adventure Days" via the MaxFun Sports GmbH portal(www.maxfunregister.com) , the following happens:

 

By registering, the participant consents to the automatic storage and processing of the personal data provided during registration for the purpose of implementing the event. Personal data will only be exchanged between MaxFun Sports GmbH and the organiser for the purpose of proper processing of the registration and evaluation of the results of the event. In the event of an accident, the organiser reserves the right to pass on personal data (name, age, gender) to the rescue services (Austrian Red Cross, mountain rescue) in order to provide the best possible care.

By registering, the participant also agrees that the photos, video recordings and interviews taken in connection with participation in the event may be used in radio, television, website, social media, print media, books, photomechanical reproductions (films, DVDs, etc.) without claims for remuneration.

 

After the event, all personal data will be anonymised within two months and used for the purpose of statistical analysis.

 

Sportograf GmbH Et Co. KG (website: www.sportograf.com) will be a media partner and the exclusive photo service provider at our event. If you participate in an event at which Sportograf (hereinafter: “we") has been commissioned by the organiser as an exclusive photo service provider, we may collect video or image material in which you can be personally identified, potentially with your participant number for the event (e.g. starting number). We use the data collected at the sporting events to fulfil our obligation as a photo service provider arising from the underlying contract with the organiser and in our own commercial interest for the purpose of marketing photos or videos of the event to interested participants via our website www.sportograf.com. Based on our many years of experience in the field of event photography, we can state that, on the one hand, the participants of sporting events are informed transparently that Sportograf is used as an exclusive photo service provider and, on the other hand, that every participant of such an event must expect that the organiser or its cooperation partner will market photos of such events as souvenirs.

 

Your data will not be passed on to third parties. To take the corresponding photos, we only use photographers who we have bound under data protection law in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. The legal basis is our aforementioned legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. F GDPR. You may file an objection to this processing. D - Rights of data subjects

 

You have the right to information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing as well as a right to correction, objection, data transfer, restriction of processing and blocking or deletion of incorrect/unauthorised processed data.

 

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us violates the applicable data protection law or your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.

 

Right of objection

 

You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the use of your personal data at any time or to refuse the storage of your personal data. Consent to receive newsletters is granted via a three-stage process: Entering of the email address, actively clicking on "Yes" (consent), actively clicking on "Subscribe". The right to object/right to terminate the use of data for the agreed purpose can be exercised either by clicking on 'unsubscribe' at the end of a mailing or by sending an email to info@erzbergsport.at. If one of these two actions is carried out, all of the user's data will be irrevocably deleted within 14 days.
