INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS AND VISITORS

Dear participant,

Your personal adventure at the “Krone Erzberg Adventure Days” is about to begin!

Please read the following information carefully so that your participation is stress-free for you and has no unwanted surprises!

Download the information and safety sheet now and read the site regulations!

IMPORTANT FACTS IN ADVANCE

7:00 a.m. – ½ hour before the respective competition: start number distribution

8:30 a.m. - 9:20 a.m.: Baggage drop-off at the start area, then handed out at the finish line

8:30 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.: Departure to the start, only for participants!

9:30 a.m.: Start of the Erzberg RUN

9:35 a.m.: One-time descent to the summit for visitors who want to see the first finish

​10:00 a.m.: Start of the Erzberg WALK

From 10:15: Departure to the summit for visitors who want to see the start and then the finishes

10:15 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Shuttle service for participants and visitors between the summit and the festival site

approx. 2:30 p.m.: Award ceremony


1. Start number issue:

The distribution of starting numbers is only possible on July 22nd from 7:00 a.m. to half an hour before the respective start!


The issue is similar to a toll station, which you pass directly on the entrance to the site: participants and visitors drive up by car and receive their documents in their car.

Every participant must show their Maxfun registration confirmation - be sure to have it handy in the car so that it can be shown quickly!


You will then receive your starting documents and your RFID tag, which is integrated into the starting number.

You will receive any additional products or partner services you have booked (e.g. T-shirt / free drinking bottle) with your registration confirmation at the merchandise stand in the festival area.

The starting documents can only be collected in person without exception. It is not possible for another participant to collect the start number.

Visitor tickets

All visitors need a visitor ticket, which includes free use of the visitor shuttle. For tickets that have already been purchased, the “Visitor Ticket Registration Confirmation” must be presented when the start number is issued. Alternatively, visitor tickets can also be purchased at the start number issue, late entry or info point on site. Access to the site is not permitted without a visitor wristband.

2. Late entries & changes:

You can register for the respective competitions on site from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. or make changes to your registration.​

ATTENTION: If you change your registration to another participant (a participant drops out and the start number is transferred to a replacement participant), the original registration confirmation of the originally registered participant must be presented. No transfer can be carried out without confirmation of registration.

Please arrive on time and plan for waiting times if necessary!

Only cash payment is possible on the mountain!

3. Baggage drop off

Clothes buses will be available directly at the start area from 8:30 a.m. to transport your change of clothes to the finish at the summit free of charge.

Important:

Only lockable containers (e.g. backpack, bag) can be handed in.

Only luggage up to a maximum size of 55 x 35 x 20 cm will be accepted.

These are marked with a ribbon and the start number when they are handed in, transported to the summit and can be picked up again upon presentation of the start number.

Dropping off luggage is free of charge.

No liability is assumed for items handed in.

A notice:

At the summit there is again summit beer/Gastro Light, so remember to send cash to the summit!

 

4. Visitor tickets and visitor shuttle

All visitors need a visitor ticket, which includes free use of the visitor shuttle. Tickets are available on site at the start number issue, late entry and info point.​

The visitor ticket includes a ride on the visitor shuttle to the Erzberg summit.

 

First trip once at 9:35 a.m., then shuttle service from 10:15 a.m. from the festival site to the summit and back

Departure: Bus turnaround point in front of the entrance to the festival area.

 

Important:

 

The race track itself is not allowed to be entered.

Visitors are only allowed to stay in the designated areas.

Visitors are allowed to take dogs with them, leashes are required on the premises and muzzles are required on the buses.

The visitor must only dispose of waste of any kind in the event area in the containers provided or take it with them when leaving the area.

Entering the premises is at your own risk.
 

5. Arrival/Parking

You can drive directly to the event site and park on Erzberg free of charge. The parking lot is located in the immediate vicinity of the festival site. No liability is accepted for parked vehicles – theft, damage!

6. Access

 

Access is via the federal highway B115 from the direction of Leoben and from the direction of Hieflau.

Address for the navigation system: Freiheitsplatz, A-8790 Eisenerz – from here follow the signs about Eisenerzer Blumau!

When you arrive at the event site, follow the signs and parking signs!

Public arrival

By bus to Eisenerz, get off at “Eisenerzer Busbahnhof”. From the stop you can order a local taxi by calling +43 3848 / 3095. Please reserve in advance!

7. Changing rooms/showers/toilets

Toilets (male/female) are located at the start/finish or in the immediate festival area.

Showers (m/f) are located in the festival area

Changing facilities (m/f) are also available at the summit.

8. Transport back from the summit

Participants can take the Erzberg shuttle back to the festival area for free

Buses depart from the plateau approx. 400 m below the Erzberg summit. Commuter rides.

Last trip into the valley at around 2:30 p.m.

9. Finish line & award ceremony

The finish line for all competitions is 2:00 p.m.!

The award ceremony will take place at around 3:00 p.m.!​

10.  SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - IMPORTANT ⚠️

The festival site is located in an active mining area where mining takes place 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Participants and visitors to the event may only enter the area in the designated event areas (festival grounds, race tracks and designated visitor areas). It is forbidden to cross barriers of any kind and to move outside the designated event areas on your own initiative - danger to life!

Emergency/Evacuation:

A siren sounds three times to announce the cancellation of the event due to unforeseen circumstances. This is the signal for an emergency evacuation. In this case, all visitors and participants of the event must go to the nearest assembly point. The collection points are marked accordingly as such. Marshals provide information about the location of the nearest collection point.

Rules of conduct in the event of a power outage in the tunnels – don’t panic:

If there is an unexpected power outage in one of the tunnels you are passing through, please do not continue walking - there is a risk of injury without lighting - but stop immediately and wait until the light comes on again. The marshals at the tunnel portals always keep an eye on the situation and report a power failure immediately to the operations center. The electrician will be informed and will turn the light back on.

11. DATA PROTECTION NOTICE PARTICIPANT PHOTOGRAPHY

Every person who enters the premises agrees to have sound and image recordings made of them free of charge, by means of direct or time-shifted video display, direct or time-shifted transmission or other transmission or recording, photos or other present and /or future media technologies can be used free of charge. Photo and video material for commercial purposes may only be used with accreditation by the organizer. In the case of TV broadcasts and other recordings, the participant gives his/her consent to the broadcasting TV company that the recordings made by him/her during or in connection with the event can be evaluated using any technical process without compensation and without any time or spatial restrictions may be. Every visitor to the event submits to the site regulations (which can be viewed at the info point or at erzbergsport.at/gelaenderegulation).

 

At the event in question, Sportograf GmbH Et Co. KG (web: www.sportograf.com) will be used as a media partner and exclusive photo service provider. If you take part in an event where Sportograf (hereinafter: “we”) has been commissioned by the organizer as an exclusive photography service, we may collect video or image material in which you appear in person, possibly with your event participant number (e.g. start number ), can be seen.

We use the data collected during the sporting events to fulfill our obligation as a photo service provider from the underlying contract with the organizer and in our own economic interest to send the photos or videos of the event to interested participants via our website www.sportograf.com market. Based on our many years of experience in the field of event photography, we can state that, on the one hand, participants in sporting events are transparently informed that Sportograf is used as an exclusive photography service provider and, on the other hand, that every participant in such an event must expect that the organizer or its cooperation partner Photos of such events are marketed as memories or souvenirs. Your data will not be passed on to third parties. To capture the corresponding photos, we only use
Photographers who we have committed to data protection in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. The legal basis is our aforementioned legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You can object to this processing. You can find more information about how this personal data is handled and your right to object in the data protection declaration at https://www.sportograf.com/privacy.

Every person who enters the site is subject to the site rules and these must be adhered to by participants and visitors (>> site rules).
